About Dr. Kristina Lim, D.O
Kristina Lim, DO, FAAD, is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon. She is a Volunteer Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and previously served as the Director of Dermatologic Surgery at Lehigh Valley Health Network's dermatology residency program and clinical faculty for their Mohs fellowship program. She has performed over 1,500 Mohs surgeries and reconstructive surgeries.
Dr. Lim grew up in Port Charlotte, FL then moved to New York to attend Cornell University for her undergraduate studies. She earned her medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with numerous awards and with clinical honors as a top graduate in her class. She completed her dermatology residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Lim continued to complete her Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Dr. Lim has published numerous scientific articles and given lectures and presentations regionally and nationally on various topics including dermatologic surgery techniques and quality improvement in patient care. Her academic endeavors also include a passion for medical education, and specifically, she has been previously involved in the founding of and curriculum development of a Mohs surgery fellowship program.
Dr. Lim approaches her patients with compassion, understanding, and respect. She is focused on optimal treatment outcomes and is invested in alleviating patients' concerns and providing education regarding skin cancer and skin health. Dr. Lim enjoys the art of medicine, the precision of surgery and reconstruction, and especially values building strong, trusting relationships with her patients. Dr. Lim enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, discovering new restaurants, and staying active, especially with reformer Pilates, yoga, tennis, and golf.
